    Parents, you should be receiving further correspondence via MCAS regarding the serious local incident that place on Tuesday 10th June (local vicinity). It is copied for your attention below and is from West Midlands Police.

    West Midlands Police statement - local incident that took place on Tuesday 10th June 2025. Police are appealing for further information from the community.

    We’re continuing to appeal for information this evening following a stabbing at Moseley School in Birmingham.

    The 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the grounds of the Wake Green Road school just before 2pm yesterday.

    He was taken to hospital with two slash injuries to his back, which thankfully are not believed to be life-threatening.

    Six boys, aged 13 and 14, were arrested following the incident.

    This afternoon, four boys aged 14 and one aged 13, were released on police bail with strict conditions while our investigation continues.

    A sixth boy, aged 13, was released and will face no further police action.

    We continue to offer support to the boy who was injured, and the school.

    We have recovered CCTV and other material as part of the investigation, but are continuing to appeal for anyone with information, images or video footage which may help to come forward.
