News Stories SAFEGUARDING in SCHOOL - DSL TEAM SAFEGUARDING is KEY and school works very hard making sure children get the best possible start in life. Working in partnership with parents is absolutely vital and we have a dedicated safeguarding section on the school website. WE SAY IT ALL THE TIME - GOOD SCHOOL ATTENDANCE REALLY MATTERS The start of 2026...the start of a new school term...SCHOOL ATTENDANCE matters. Good school attendance is VITAL for your child. St. Bernard's works in partnership with the Authority and Education Legal Team. It's all about your child. FIRST SCHOOL HALF TERM - key dates, key dates Ready, steady, go! Some key newsletter information regarding school dates ahead. Note that school breaks up on FRIDAY 13th February 2026 for the half term holiday. School will reopen on MONDAY 23rd February 2026. CHRISTMAS BREAK...HELP IS OUT THERE The Christmas break is soon upon us. Every family is different, and family dynamics are so different in every household. Safeguarding children is absolutely key. If you are worried about a child during the Christmas break, help is out there. KS2 CHRISTMAS CAROLS & ADVENT PERFORMANCES - Thursday Tomorrow, Thursday 18th December, sees our wonderful KS2 children perform their Christmas showing. Please make sure you book your place accordingly. Details have been sent out perviously. TRIP VISIT SUCCESS...WOW! Memorable performances A BIG thank you to all concerned for organising the recent THEATRE TRIPS to see LIVE FESTIVE PERFORMANCES - Aladdin & The Owl That Came For Christmas. You can't beat a LIVE THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE! BIG THANK YOU to THE KITCHEN CREW BIG thank you to the kitchen crew team who have been very busy this past week (especially behind the school scenes) organising, preparing, and serving up extravagant CHRISTMAS DISHES for all the children, teaching team, and dinner supervisor team.
