  The NEW St. Bernard's school term starts FOR CHILDREN on THURSDAY 3rd September 2026. Monday 1st & Tuesday 2nd September are staff training days for important safeguarding updates, the new RE curriculum, & health/safety.

  The weather continues to be warm, warm, warm, hot, hot, hot! We are managing accordingly by putting suitable adjustments in place. However, due to the accumulative heat, we are putting in further adjustments for FRIDAY 10th JULY.

• B'ham University Visit CANCELLED - Friday 10th July
  The 'science celebration' trip scheduled for tomorrow, Friday 10th July, has been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
• TERMLY FIRE DRILL IN SCHOOL - WELL DONE CHILDREN
  WELL DONE TO ALL OF OUR CHILDREN. We held a 'fire drill' in school this week.
• PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED for the WARM/HOT WEATHER
  School PE kits, OR a suitable amendment to the school uniform (no school cardigans/no school jumpers). OR 'RED & WHITE', that will be alright!
