News Stories READY FOR THE LAST PUSH! The FINAL SCHOOL term ahead...summer 2025 Back to school on MONDAY 2nd June for all our school children. So much ahead, so much on the busy school HORIZON. And...the final term for our wonderful Y6 children. HERE IS THE NEWS...SCHOOL NEWS...in the BUSY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER Friday 23rd May 20205...the informative newsletter, delivered in the palm of your hand. READ ALL ABOUT YOUR SCHOOL, YOUR CHOSEN SCHOOL...St. Busy Bernard's Catholic Primary School. BLUE, RED & WHITE...that's the VE theme for today - FRIDAY 23rd May 2025 Time for a celebratory feel in school...we are thinking about the 80th ANNIVERSARY of VE DAY. The children have been thinking about this recently. YOUR CHILD CAN WEAR their own clothes with a RED, WHITE & BLUE themed twist! NO FRIDAY BOARD CLUB & NO BRASS MUSIC CLUB TODAY - usual pick up times please Just a reminder that there are NO after school clubs today for BOARD CLUB or BRASS MUSIC CLUB. So, please make sure you pick your child up at the usual end of school day time. Thank you parents. You should have received correspondence. BIG MUSICAL THANK YOU to our PTA DISCO FEVER VOLUNTEERS It does not just happen overnight. Our wonderful crew of PTA volunteers have worked hard behind the school scenes to make it a memorable week for our children...DISCO FEVER WEEK 2025! WELL DONE to all our TALENT SHOW PERFORMERS Our school term comes to a thunderous TALENTED end...what a TALENT SHOW finale! We have just had the most fabulous PICNIC lunch, provided by our cooks and dinner supervisors, and now we've celebrated TALENTS GALORE! WELL DONE TO THE SCHOOL COUNCIL CHILDREN - wonderful assembly Our VE DAY got off to a most wonderful start this morning. We have had musical numbers echoing down the corridors of school, music blasting out in the main hall...and a VERY SPECIAL MORNING ASSEMBLY, led by the SCHOOL COUNCIL. THE HOLIDAY BREAK AHEAD (school breaks up on Friday 23rd May) - SAFEGUARDING The safety and wellbeing of children is of paramount importance. The holiday break is soon upon us and the holiday season is nearly here. Children should be happy and safe from any harm. We all need to do our part and ensure this is the case. YEAR 3 HOLY COMMUNION CHILDREN - WELL DONE Well done and a BIG thank you to our WONDERFUL HOLY COMMUNION family in Year 3. They celebrated a very special prayer service this morning...their journey of COMMUNION, their journey of FAITH. WARM WEATHER...PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS PREPARED Just a reminder...every little helps!
