• PTA SUMMER FETE NEWS - Friday 28th June 2024
  It's on this week's busy HORIZON...the BIG PTA event of the school year 2024! The St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School SUMMER FETE EXTRAVAGANZA EVENT! Don't forget that school is finishing a touch earlier on Friday 28th June - 3pm SCHOOL FINISH.
• GAS WORKS - TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM
  Note that school made a call to the listed GAS WORKS company this morning to try to get an update regarding the 4-WAY TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS. Please be advised that they are located on a VERY DANGEROUS section of the road (near the zebra crossing).
• PROFESSOR GREENAWAY is AMAZED...so many FANTASTIC SCIENCE PROJECTS
  Yes, Mrs. Greenaway has been scientifically blown away by all the recent SCIENCE DISPLAY PROJECTS that have been brought into school. SUPERB SCIENCE going on at St. Bernard's Science Establishment! WOW! INCREDIBLE! BRILLIANT!

• GOING TO BE WARM/HOT - next few days (the week ahead...)
  The weather forecast for the next few days is all about warm, warm, warm weather. Please make sure your child is prepared accordingly. Every little helps giving them a little bit more comfort in and around school.
• TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS - STILL THERE!
  The 4-way traffic lights are still located outside school. Certainly not ideal! School has not be contacted or informed about how long the lights will remain there for.
• TRAFFIC DELAYS - PLEASE BE MINDFUL - TEMPORARY 4-WAY TRAFFIC LIGHTS
  They are still there! The TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS, 4-WAY system that suddenly appeared yesterday. They caused a tremendous amount of disruption. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE ALSO LOCATED NEAR THE ZEBRA CROSSING ZONE.
• PTA NEWS - PREPARING FOR SUMMER FETE - FRIDAY 21st JUNE - OWN CLOTHES (YIPPEE!)
  The PTA are in the process of preparing for the SUMMER FETE extravaganza...they have already sent out information to all the children/parents. Wear your OWN CLOTHES and bring in an ITEM for the HAMPER.
• REMINDER - THE BIG EUROS 2024 CREATIVE CHALLENGE!
  Yes, another reminder after the fabulous football continues...it's the BIG ST. BERNARD'S EUROS 2024 PROJECT CHALLENGE!
• WEATHER, WEATHER, WEATHER (items into school)
  Please make sure your child has a suitably sized water bottle when they are in school. They need to take it home also and make sure it is cleaned, washed thoroughly, and ready for the next day in school. A sun cap/hat can also be brought in.
