What an unbelievable turnout today for our VOCATIONS CELEBRATORY day. So many different VOCATIONAL pathways to celebrate... FRIDAY 23rd MAY - VE DAY CELEBRATION DAY IN SCHOOL It's in the NEWS currently, all the wonderful and spectacular VE CELEBRATIONS taking place all over the country. A time to reflect on a most poignant 80th anniversary. VOCATIONS WEEK & VOCATIONS DRESSING UP DAY Tuesday 6th May is VOCATIONS DRESSING UP DAY. Your child can come to school DRESSED as their chosen VOCATION. So, what will your child wear? Have they been inspired by a family member, parent, or another person? REMINDER - SCHOOL CLOSED on Friday 2nd May 2025 & Monday 5th May St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School is closed to all pupils on FRIDAY 2nd May (tomorrow). On Bank Holiday Monday 5th May, school is also closed...so SCHOOL REOPENS on TUESDAY 6th May 2025. REMINDER - WEST MIDLANDS POLICE & OPERATION ENCOMPASS It's all part of our school's safeguarding agenda... REMINDER - NO NUT PRODUCTS PLEASE/NO NUTS Again, a polite reminder about helping children on the school site. We do have several children in school who have life threatening allergies. It's about helping them as much as we can. YOUR CHILD'S ONLINE SAFETY REALLY MATTERS. Do you know what they are doing online? You should be receiving correspondence soon regarding ONLINE SAFETY (via MCAS). It is always in the national news, and so it should be because it's all about SAFETY - your child's ONLINE safety. It's an ever-changing technological world out there!
