  SAFEGUARDING matters! It has been in the news recently about ONLINE SAFETY and KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE when it comes to using social media platforms. The NSPCC has published some information and various NEWS outlets have been addressing it.

  We hope you are really looking forward to spending family time together. West Midlands Police are sending a message out to all households as Halloween and Bonfire Night approaches. It gets dark earlier with the clocks being changed also.

• YEAR 6 PARENTS - FINAL REMINDER...secondary deadline date is on the HORIZON
  You MUST apply for secondary school admissions using the online system. If your child is in Year 6, you should have already been visiting local secondary school establishments and taking every opportunity to look around them.
• PTA COFFEE (or TEA) MORNING - social conversation (and meet & greet)
  You are most welcome to come along and have a chat over a cup of coffee or tea...and a few biscuits thrown in as well! Our PTA are holding an informal coffee morning for you all. Look out for details coming your way...

  How time flies! The term ends today for all the children at ST. BERNARD'S BUSY CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL. New term starts again on MONDAY 4th November 2024 (usual breakfast club and start of day timings). School gates close at 8.45am
