News Stories CHRISTMAS JUMPERING FUN, FUN, FUN! 14/12/21 We're CHRISTMAS JUMPERING on Tuesday 14th December and it should be colourful fun, fun, fun! It will be a deep-coloured, glowing, bright-coloured, gleaming, festive day of JUMPERING FUN! It's CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY in school. YEAR 1 MASS - PLEASE NOTE Please note that Father Gerry has a funeral Mass tomorrow morning at another parish - he cannot celebrate the Year 1 Mass with us. The Year 1 Mass will NOW take place during the final week of the school term - WEDNESDAY 15th December 2021. ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE WOW! A WONDERFULLY UPLIFTING START TO THE SCHOOL DAY - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE was the theme of the YEAR 6W assembly. A simple yet powerful message! ATTENDANCE WINNING for WEEK 5 It's all about your child's ATTENDANCE because ATTENDANCE MATTERS. ROAD SAFETY in the NEWS We recently sent correspondence to our local COUNCILLORS. We informed them IN THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE TERMS of the serious issues concerning 'parking & road safety' issues along the WAKE GREEN ROAD. TUESDAY - RECONCILIATION MASS for Year 3 On Tuesday 7th December our wonderful YEAR 3 children continue their journey of faith during a very special Reconciliation Mass. CHRISTMAS DINNER DAY (yummy!) Get your child on the CHRISTMAS DINNER day - it's on Tuesday 14th December. PLEASE LET THE SCHOOL OFFICE KNOW BY FRIDAY 3rd because 'CHRISTMAS DINNER orders need to be ordered by our orderly kitchen crew' - that's not easy to say! CHRISTMAS ENRICHMENT - theatre performance The THEATRE is coming to St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School on Monday 13th December 2021 - it's all part of our ENRICHMENT drive to enrich the learning of all our wonderful children (and to have a little festive fun!). COVID - it's still in the NEWS Obviously, COVID concerns are still very much in the daily news and we all need to continue to do our bit.
