RECEPTION YEAR GROUP - PARTY NEWS - FRIDAY 16th December There's a PARTY happening in the RECEPTION year group soon. Read ALL ABOUT IT! CHRISTMAS PARTY DANCE FEVER! RECEPTION children can wear their own clothes on FRIDAY 16th December. Y1 - THURSDAY (NO PE) - wear school uniform please Just a polite reminder from the Y1 staff team...NO PE on Thursday 15th December - Year 1 children MUST wear their usual smart school uniform attire. THE SHOW MUST GO ON - joyful day at school WOW! What a memorable day at St. Bernard's - one that will go down in PANTO legend. The children (EVERY SINGLE CHILD IN SCHOOL) experienced the world of theatre today - it was a FANTASTIC experience. Reception and Year 1 loved their Riverside show. 32 YEARS and COUNTING - Mrs Humphreys, THANK YOU We say goodbye to Mrs. Humphreys later this week. She has served the community of St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School for a very (VERY) long time - that's quite a feat - 32 years! Mixed emotions for Mrs. H, as she ventures to pastures new. There is SO MUCH going on and of course, so much has already happened during this very busy ADVENT season. IT'S YOUR SCHOOL... CONGRATULATIONS - winning children - YOU SCORED a screamer! We had a different WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY this morning at St. Bernard's WORLD CUP FOOTBALL SCHOOL - it was the presentation of the WORLD CUP winning certificates. Some lucky children even won a WORLD CUP QATAR 2022 FOOTBALL. PANTO is TUESDAY - please pay via parent pay TODAY (it's PANTO season) Final call for PARENT PAY payments for the PANTO EXTRAVAGANZA - 13th December 2022. SCHOOL TRIP takes place for Y2 to Y6. TUESDAY NEWS - so much going on TUESDAY 13th DECEMBER PANTO for Y2 to Y6 takes place tomorrow - SCHOOL UNIFORM MUST, MUST, MUST be worn please. Children will also be given a small snack and a drink of juice. Let the show commence... SAFETY OUTSIDE - LOCAL NEWS It has been deeply upsetting to read recent events in the local news (Kingshurst - Solihull), regarding loss of precious life and the distressing impact on families, local school establishments and the wider community. We pray for all concerned.
