• THANK YOU TO OUR FESTIVE PTA GROTTO TEAM...HO! HO! HO!
  Jingle bells, jingle bells...music and cheer was all the craze in the St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School GROTTO today - SANTA WAS IN TOWN! HO! HO! HIPPETY HIP HOP HOOOO! The children were thrilled, delighted, and amazed by it all!
• PTA GROTTO IN TOWN - Friday 6th December 2024
  HO! HO! HO! The elves are in town (and SANTA is coming here!). Will it magically snow tomorrow on our special grotto?
• AUTHORITY & WEST MIDLANDS POLICE FORCE correspondence
  Safeguarding your child is of course vitally important, whether that be on the St. Bernard's school site or off the school premises. Please make sure you read the MCAS correspondence you receive today about CHILD SAFETY.
• FINAL CALL, FINAL CALL - Rec, Y1 and Y2 PARENTS - NATIVITY
  FINAL CALL for your seat bookings. YOU MUST MAKE SURE you are on the system and have your place BOOKED. FINAL CALL because we have health & safety checks that are necessary regarding restricted audience numbers.
• CINEMA OUTING costs £10 - payments required please
  So far we have had just short of 300 parents pay for the exciting and adventurous CINEMA OUTING of the school year. The wonderful 'MOANA 2' is taking place on MONDAY 16th December. We went to the cinema last year and it was GREAT!
• YEAR 4S - PARENT CONSULTATION - 4S - TUESDAY 3rd December
  We welcome our Y4S parents on Tuesday afternoon this week. Parents have the opportunity to look through their child's books and speak to their covering teacher.
• ADVENT ASSEMBLY TIME...he is coming
  It feels different in the school hall and it certainly looks different. Advent is now. Advent is here. The ADVENT wreath is on show and the candle of HOPE has been lit. The FIRST WEEK of ADVENT. Our first assembly of ADVENT.
• YEAR 5 and WHITEMOOR LAKES...let the ADVENTURE commence!
  It will soon be here (believe it or not!). The GREAT ADVENTURE during February 2025 - a 3-day, 2-night ADVENTURE where the children will learn about themselves and challenge themselves to the extreme! IT'S WONDERFUL WHITEMOOR!
• MONDAY/TODAY's Y3 & Y4 'AFTER SCHOOL' DRAMA CLUB - CANCELLED
  Apologies for the late notice but we have had to CANCEL the after school club due to take place today - DRAMA CLUB for Y3 & Y4. Due to staff illness, we have had to CANCEL this club. Please pick your child up at the usual time.
• ST. CHAD'S SANCTUARY want to say THANK YOU
  The St. Chad's CHARITY SANCTUARYTEAM wanted to thank all parents and children concerned for the recent DAY of ACTION HAMPERS. All donations, beautifully wrapped in decorative HAMPERS, were delivered to St. Chad's this afternoon.
