News Stories NEED THAT LITTLE BIT OF EXTRA SUPPORT Every little helps! It's what's out there that counts. IMPORTANT HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATE - SCHOOL HEATING ISSUES Parents, please read the following information carefully because it concerns ongoing 'technical heating issues' that you need to be made aware of. SCHOOL HEATING ISSUES - SCHOOL OPEN on TUESDAY Just to pass on our thanks for your patience and understanding parents. The vast majority of children were picked up early today because the heating system had broken down in school. GOOD LUCK YOUNG VOICES in YEAR 5 - singing today We are sending our best wishes to the children in YEAR 5 today. They are going on music journey that will stay with them for the rest of their lives... NO NUT PRODUCTS PLEASE / NO NUTS Just another polite reminder about we have several children on the school site who have life threatening allergies and we are doing our best to make sure we get the message out...please DO NOT send any NUT PRODUCTS into school. PE DAYS ahead...SPRING 2025...GET FIT, STAY FIT! Details are on the busy school NEWSLETTER. PE days ahead for SPRING 2025. Please remember that your child can wear their PE kit to school on their specific PE day. Any queries, just contact the main school office. SAFEGUARDING in ST. BERNARD'S SCHOOL - it's what we do - your DSL Team Your DSL in school (Designated Safeguarding Leads) are here to help you and your family. Safeguarding is absolutely key in everything we do because we want the BEST for your child and every child. FRIDAY MORNING REGISTRATION this week - YEAR 5 children and their SIBLINGS Year 5 are obviously going to have a late...late...late...night tonight. Tomorrow morning, FRIDAY 17th January, for school registration, they can (and their siblings also) get into school a touch later if parents opt for this.
