  Our focus this week has been on the theme of ANTI-BULLYING - telling us and talking to us. Children have been completing various activities linked to this very important topic. GOOD BEHAVIOUR, POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR and DEEP RESPECT for each other.

• FORTHCOMING SCHOOL MASS - you are most welcome
  On WEDNESDAY 23rd November 2022 we celebrate CHRIST THE KING MASS - this Mass will be for Y1 to Y6 children in the school hall - Father Gerry will be celebrating. Please note it is for Y1 to Y6 children.
• ADVANCED WARNING - traffic issues - DELAYS EXPECTED
  Please note that we have been informed by the BUILDING SITE project manager (new residence block going up next to school) that there will be a 4-WAY TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS system in place commencing next week.
• ATTENDANCE STATS for last week - GOOD ATTENDANCE MATTERS
  Your child's attendance MATTERS to us - school continues to work exceptionally hard maintaining ATTENDANCE STANDARDS. Partnership with parents is absolutely key in this.
• RED & WHITE DAY - WORLD CUP FEVER starts for ENGLAND on 21st NOVEMBER 2022
  WOW! START GETTING EXCITED...some people are on the pitch, they think it's all over...IT IS NOW! FAMOUS WORDS from 1966 - last time ENGLAND lifted the WORLD CUP TROPHY. If only they could emulate the fantastic achievement of our WOMEN!
• ANTI-BULLYING WEEK FOCUS 2022
  SO MUCH GOING ON IN OUR BUSY, BUSY, BUSY school this week (again) - it's ANTI-BULLYING WEEK (national focus week). Our Lead, Miss Fraser, is pushing this AGENDA daily in school and this week, the children have various activities to complete.

  Can you help us please? Can you spend a few minutes of your time helping us with our ST. BERNARD'S SCHOOL SCIENTIFIC VISION? We want to take this super subject to infinity and beyond...we want to explore what we can do AND WE NEED YOUR VALUABLE COMMENTS.

  MRS. HUMPHREYS leaves St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School soon. An incredible achievement of serving the community of St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School since 1990 - 32 years dedicated service!
• WEAR A POPPY WITH PRIDE and REFLECTION
  Our school POPPIES go on sale today to children. The items being sold today and next week will raise money for the local Remembrance Legion Charity. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
