• RECEPTION PE day is THURSDAY, THURSDAY, THURSDAY
  Our sporty RECEPTION staff team want you to know that the RECEPTION PE DAY has changed to a THURSDAY. Please make sure your child WEARS THEIR PE KIT ON A THURSDAY. It's all about being healthy, sporty and ready for PE.
• MULTI-FAITH WEEK ahead at St. Bernard's
  Such a busy week ahead with MULTI-FAITH themed visits planned for many of our children across the school. Don't forget to check PARENT PAY to make sure payments are made. It's also about our drive to LIVE SIMPLY, LIVE SIMPLY, LIVE SIMPLY...
• Today - EPIPHANY 2pm - Friday 6th January
  We are holding a special EPIPHANY celebration at 2pm later today. Please note that unfortunately, Father Gerry is now not able to celebrate this Mass. He has contacted school to send his sincere apologies.
• THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS - St. Bernard's in Birmingham
  Well done children - a wonderful end to the first week of 2023! Epiphany celebrations today capped off a very busy and engaging first week. So much more to come as well as the NEWSLETTER SWAY leads the way in the palm of your hand...
• KNOW THE KEY DATES 2023 (1st half-term)
  Just a selection of some of the KEY DATES for the half-term ahead. Note some of the CLASS ASSEMBLY dates (they're back on the busy school horizon). Note also some of the PTA planned events - all about making a difference to your child.
• PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL - temporary traffic control lights - SAFETY is PARAMOUNT
  Please be EXTRA CAREFUL when crossing the WAKE GREEN ROAD junction near the temporary traffic light zone - it certainly is not ideal where they have been placed.
• TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS - Wake Green Rd - DELAYS EXPECTED
  Please be aware that there have been temporary traffic lights placed on the WAKE GREEN ROAD (4-way traffic lights/near the new build, next to the zebra crossing zone). PLEASE BE VERY VERY CAREFUL.
• VAST MAJORITY OF CLUBS START NEXT WEEK - *PLEASE NOTE*
  Only 1 club commences this week after school - THIRD SPACE learning (Y6 today, finishes at 4.30pm - Tuesday club). Please note that all the other exciting Spring term clubs 2023 commence from Monday 9th January.
